GEOMEMBRANE

A Geomembrane is very low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used with any geotechnical engineering related material so as to control fluid (or gas) migration in a human-made project, structure, or system. Are made from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets, but they can also be made from the impregnation of geotextiles with asphalt, elastomer or polymer sprays, or as multilayered bitumen geocomposites

APPLICATIONS

MINING INDUSTRY - CHEMICAL - SALT INDUSTRY - LANDSCAPE PROJECTS SANITATION - WATER CONSERVANCY - CONSTRUCTION - AQUACULTURE - AGRICULTURE

OUR PRODUCTS

We can provide all kinds of impermeable membrane, geotextile, composite
geomembrane, GCL composite drainage network and other geosynthetics.

Most mining projects request HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) geomembrane witch is product by the selection high-quality polyethylene resin. The main components are 97.5% of HDPE and 2.5% of Carbon black/antiaging agent/anti-oxygen/UV absorber/stabilizer and others adjuvants.

All the productions could be manufactured to meet or exceed GRI’s GM13 complete specifications with superior quality.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Thickness: from 0.75 to 3mm.
Textures: smooth sheet, one side textured, or both sides textured.
Rolls: 7.01 or 8.01 mts width. 2 tons estimated weight.
Density: 0.94 g/cm³ (ASTM D1505/D792)

AVAILABLE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

BLOWN FILM

The blown-film process involves extruding a relatively thick tube, which is then expanded or blown by internal air pressure to produce a relatively thin film.

Close thickness tolerances are difficult to achieve with the blown-film process; variations around the bubble can be limited to perhaps ±10% of the target film thickness.

CALENDERING

A hot polymeric compound passes through a series of heated rollers to form a sheet of polymeric compound. Several sheets of polymeric compound can be calendared simultaneously and associated to form a “multi-ply” geomembrane.

Although it is more expensive, the purpose of this process was to minimize the risk of having Pinholes or thickness irregularities.

AVAILABLE MATERIALS

Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) is the most flexible of the plastic sheeting films.
LLDPE is blended form of LDPE where the film has much more flexibility, tensile strength,
and more conformability. It is more pliable and softer. LLDPE is used for pond liners or
blended into other films to give them more flexibility and extra strength.

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is the most common type of plastic sheeting. It is very
flexible, most often from 0.5mm thick to about 40mm in flexible sheeting forms. Due to its flexibility is conforms well to a variety of surfaces.

GEOTEXTILES

Geotextiles are commonly used to improve soils over which roads, embankments, pipelines, and earth retaining structures are built. There are several types of geotextile material, including open-mesh, warp-knitted, and closed fabric or non-woven textiles. Different geotextile materials & densities are specified for various characteristics, such as separation, filtration, drainage, reinforcement, sealing, and protection.
